Safety Officer (Short Term 3 Months) (Saudi Arabia)

Eram Talent is seeking a Safety Officer for a short-term engagement (3 months) in Saudi Arabia, specifically within the Oil & Energy sector. This role is critical for ensuring conformity with safety regulations, providing a safe working environment, and fostering a culture of safety within the organization.

If selected, the Food, Accommodation & Transportation will be covered by the company.

Responsibilities

- Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations
- Conduct site safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Investigate workplace incidents and accidents to determine causes and implement preventive measures






- Provide safety training and orientations for new employees and contractors
- Prepare and maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities
- Actively promote safety awareness among all staff and subcontractors
- Collaborate with the project management team to integrate safety measures into project planning and execution

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of safety, preferably in the oil and gas or construction industry
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices specific to Saudi Arabia
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
- Willingness to travel to various sites as required
- NEBOSH or equivalent safety certification is required
