Job Description
1. Sales Process Knowledge: Understanding of sales processes, such as lead management, opportunity management, forecasting, and territory management. This knowledge allows them to analyze sales performance within the context of these processes.
2. Data Analysis: Proficiency in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting sales data to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Strong analytical skills, along with expertise in tools like Excel or data visualization software, are crucial for effective data analysis.
3. Reporting and Presentation: Ability to generate clear and concise reports and presentations that communicate sales performance metrics, trends, and insights to stakeholders.
Excellent data visualization and communication skills are essential for conveying complex information in a meaningful way to the leadership.
4. Sales Systems and Tools: Familiarity with sales systems and tools, such as Salesforce CRM platform, SAP HANA, sales analytics software such as Tableau. A strong understanding of these systems enables them to leverage them for data analysis and reporting.
5. Business Acumen: Understanding of business processes, sales strategies, and market dynamics and ability to connect sales performance metrics with broader business goals and strategies.
