Full job description
1. Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for adults and children to diagnose mental health conditions, using standardized tests, interviews, and observational methods
2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients of all ages, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT psychodynamic therapy)
3. Provide ongoing counseling and support to individuals and families,
helping them navigate emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges
4. Assess and manage crisis situations for both adults and children, providing immediate support and intervention when necessary
5. Educating family members on how to assist their child or how to respond to certain behaviors
6. Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and coping strategies. Advocate for mental health awareness and resources within the community.
7. Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in psychology and mental health treatment. Participate in training and continuing education opportunities
