Role Overview
As an IT Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to understand business requirements, analyze processes, and design innovative IT solutions that optimize logistics operations and drive business growth.
What You Will Do
Business Requirements Analysis:
- Collaborate with stakeholders across different departments to gather and analyze business requirements related to logistics operations.
- Conduct comprehensive business process analysis to identify areas for improvement and automation.
Signoff on requirements document and based on that come up with functional solution and design documentation in collaboration with the vendor teams.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and user stories.
- Solution Design and Implementation:
- Work closely with development teams to ensure solutions are developed according to specifications and delivered within established timelines and budget.
- Review the implementation and UT results and be part of UAT.
- Document SOPs, create user training materials and conduct user trainings as part of change management.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Participate in workshops and meetings with stakeholders to elicit requirements, prioritize features, and define project scope and objectives.
- Act as a liaison between business users and IT teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
What You Will Bring
- 3 to 5 Years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Good to have exposure in the logistics domain, with a strong understanding of logistics operations and processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field. MBA would be a plus.
- Proven experience leading IT projects, from requirements gathering to implementation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management practices.
- Experience working with logistics software solutions is a plus.
