Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead the development and optimization of our food and grocery delivery services tailored for restaurants. You will play a critical role in shaping the product strategy, enhancing user experiences, and driving growth in this rapidly evolving market.
Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define, prioritize,
and communicate the product vision and roadmap for the food & grocery delivery business specific to restaurant partners.
Market Research & Insights: Conduct market research to identify opportunities, trends, and gaps in the restaurant delivery ecosystem. Gather insights from restaurant partners, customers, and competitive analyses to inform product decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to drive the end-to-end product development process, from ideation to launch.
User Experience & Feedback: Own the restaurant partner and customer experience. Regularly gather feedback from restaurant partners to identify pain points and opportunities to improve the platform’s usability, efficiency, and functionality.
Product Development: Work closely with engineers to ensure product features are delivered on time and meet quality standards. Translate product ideas and business requirements into detailed user stories and specifications.
Data-Driven Decisions: Use data and key metrics (e.g., conversion rates, delivery times, partner retention)
to measure the impact of product changes, identify areas of improvement, and optimize for growth.
Stakeholder Management: Communicate product updates, timelines, and deliverables to stakeholders. Ensure alignment with business objectives and effectively manage expectations across teams.
Restaurant Onboarding & Growth: Develop product features that streamline restaurant onboarding, menu management, and order fulfillment processes. Work on tools that help restaurants improve their operational efficiency and increase their revenue.
Innovation & Scalability: Identify opportunities to introduce innovative features that differentiate the platform in the competitive food and grocery delivery space.
Ensure scalability as the platform grows to serve more restaurants and customers.
Compliance & Regulations: Stay updated on food safety regulations, delivery laws, and compliance requirements to ensure the product adheres to legal standards.
RequirementsQualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably in food & grocery delivery, e-commerce, or a related industry.
- Experience working with restaurant operations or in the food delivery sector is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of delivering impactful product features and enhancements.
- Strong knowledge of PHP and the Laravel framework.
- Experience with MySQL or other relational databases. Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks like Vue.js or React is a plus.
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs and API design principles. Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of digital product development and agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, and product analytics platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with restaurant management systems or third-party delivery platforms.
- Familiarity with user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design best practices.
- Understanding of last-mile logistics and delivery optimization.
