Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or computer science.
Previous experience as a full stack engineer.
Advanced knowledge of front-end languages including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery.
Proficient in back-end languages and frameworks including Java, springboot, spark and Python
Knowledge of database systems and SQL.
Previous experience working in snowflake or BQ is preferred
Advanced troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with GCP or Azure Cloud including Azure Kubernetes is a plus
JD for Data Engineer:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 7+ plus years of specialization with data, big data and analytics platforms.
- 3+ years proven experience in developing and deploying data pipelines, preferably in the Cloud; Azure and Snowflake experience is a plus.
- 2+ years of proven expertise in creating pipelines for real time and near real time integration.
- Expert in writing SQL statements.
- Preferred experience working with Spark, Databricks, and other relevant technologies in Microsoft Azure cloud.
- Industry experience in software development, data engineering, business intelligence, data science, or related field with experience in manipulating, processing, and extracting value from datasets.
- Hands-on experience in productionizing and deploying Big Data platforms and applications.
- Extensive experience in data transformations for Retail business use cases will be a plus.
- Passion for Data Quality with an ability to integrate these capabilities into the deliverables.
- Experience in working with different data sources - flat files, XML, JSON, and databases.
