We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst with a strong background in using Excel and building queries in BigQuery to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, PivotTables, and advanced formulas to clean, prepare, and analyze data effectively.
- Visualize data using charts, graphs, and apply conditional formatting to highlight critical data points.
- Understand and apply the difference between absolute and relative cell references in Excel to optimize data management.
- Automate repetitive tasks using Excel macros to improve efficiency.
- Perform statistical analysis using Excel’s built-in functions to generate actionable insights.
- Support data uploading, building,
and optimizing queries within BigQuery for large datasets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret data and deliver key insights to support business objectives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, with expertise in using Excel for data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, PivotTables, conditional formatting, and Excel macros.
- Ability to clean, organize, and prepare data using Excel functions.
- Experience in building queries and working with large datasets in Google BigQuery.
- Familiarity with advanced Excel formulas to enhance data analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with data.
- Ability to present data visually through charts and graphs to communicate insights effectively.
Bonus Points:
- Experience in performing statistical analysis using Excel.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and tools.
