Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Head of QA with expertise in Salesforce to lead our quality assurance efforts across Salesforce implementations and integrations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce QA strategy, test automation, and manual testing, ensuring high-quality deliverables across the Salesforce ecosystem. This role requires hands-on leadership to define and execute the overall QA strategy for Salesforce products,





as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the Salesforce platform and integrations with other enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and manage the Salesforce QA team, fostering a collaborative culture focused on quality and continuous improvement.

Develop and implement a comprehensive QA strategy for Salesforce, including both manual and automated testing processes across various Salesforce products (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.).

Align QA processes with Salesforce best practices and ensure integration of QA activities throughout the Salesforce development lifecycle (SDLC).

Define processes and methodologies to ensure that testing is thorough, efficient, and scalable.

Establish quality metrics to monitor performance, ensuring continuous improvement across the team.

Drive the implementation of automated tools and techniques to optimize efficiency in the testing process.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams,





ensuring the smooth integration of QA processes across all stages of product development.

Manage the creation and execution of comprehensive test plans, covering all relevant areas such as system performance, security, and usability.

Ensure thorough testing of software components, including unit testing, system testing, and regression testing.

Facilitate communication between teams to ensure all project requirements and quality expectations are met.

Proactively identify risks and challenges during the testing phase, implementing solutions to mitigate impact on timelines and quality.

Take ownership of the defect tracking process, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvements in the product.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations,





maintaining documentation and processes for audit purposes.

Lead the QA team’s growth and development, including recruitment, skill enhancement, and fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Advanced Administrator, or Salesforce Platform App Builder are highly desirable.

QA certifications like ISTQB, CSTE, or related credentials are also a plus.

Experience:

15+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with at least 5 years focused on Salesforce testing.

Proven experience in leading Salesforce QA teams for complex Salesforce implementations and integrations.







Deep understanding of Salesforce customizations, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and Salesforce APIs.

Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Provar, Selenium) and integrating test automation with CI/CD pipelines.

Experience with Salesforce testing strategies (functional, regression, integration, and performance testing).

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Salesforce testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Provar, Selenium, JUnit).

Strong understanding of Salesforce SDLC, including customization, configuration, and deployment practices.

Hands-on experience with Apex testing, custom object validation, and data migration testing.

Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, or other scripting languages for automation purposes.







Leadership and Communication:

Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and mentor team members.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of bridging technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills:

A proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions, with a focus on process improvement.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.

Project Management:







Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and familiarity with agile testing practices.

Ability to drive projects to completion within scope, time, and quality constraints.
