Coimbatore, India Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Worked as Plant Maintenance Engineer, with
High Tension Power lines & Critical Equipment’s & Machines.
- Responsible for Maintenance of Utility equipment’s (like DG, Compressor, Nitrogen lines etc.) Exhaust system, UPS, Clean room & HVAC / AHU, Office equipment’s & HT Power distribution lines & its equipment’s.
- Identify faults & Trouble shoot and responsible to drive energy efficiency improvements initiatives.
- Provide first line diagnostic and arrange repairs or replacements.
- Responsible to work with Statutory bodies like electricity board, Fire & Safety, Inspector of Factories, PCB, EMS & OHSAS
- Records maintenance, Audits & resolutions.
- Develop, implement, and manage preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Ensure all equipment is properly calibrated and maintained according to specifications to ensure operational efficiency and best life.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment manuals, critical spare inventory
- Prepare and present reports on maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Analyze equipment performance data and recommend improvements or modifications to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Work closely with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to support production schedules and resolve equipment-related issues.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the maintenance team.
- Provide training and support to junior maintenance staff and operators on equipment operation and maintenance best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (preferable), Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in equipment & plant maintenance, specifically in HT line utilities.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and software systems.
- Ability to analyze data and trends to inform maintenance strategies and decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) are a plus.
- Familiarity with Automation and Control systems is a plus.
- PLC programming knowledge is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of cleanroom protocols and environmental controls.
