Our organization is seeking a skilled Advocate in our Legal Department. The Legal Executive will be responsible for the overall management of work of the Legal Department, which includes drafting, vetting, and reviewing legal documents, compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, advising senior management on legal matters, managing the company's intellectual property portfolio, and providing legal counsel and guidance to the organization.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
* Manage and oversee the development of policies, procedures, and protocols for the efficient and effective operation of the department.
* Draft, vet, and review various types of legal documents, such as contracts, agreements,
policies, and procedures, and ensure that they comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
*Manage and periodically update the documentation such as Agreements, Policies, and other client/vendor-related documents.
* Advise senior management on legal matters and provide legal counsel and guidance to the organization.
* Oversee the management of the company's intellectual property portfolio, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights, and manage the organization's relationships with external legal counsel.
* Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory and governmental agencies, legal associations, and law firms to ensure that the company is well-informed of changes that may impact the business.
* Drive the development and implementation of compliance programs for legal requirements, including data protection regulations, privacy laws, and anti-corruption laws.
* Provide training to company employees on legal policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
