The role will involve managing end to end payroll and compliance vertical. The incumbent will have to manage all aspects of the payroll processing, accounting, C&B;, labour law compliance, collaborate closely with our Payroll vendor and handle HRMS Payroll execution.Functional Competencies: Payroll execution (India)/Statutory payroll compliance / Managing AuditsKey Role & Responsibilities:The role requires excellent knowledge of payroll and statutory compliances such as PF, gratuity,





labour law and tax compliance and tax planning instruments such as NPS, car lease etc. along with upcoming compliances such as labour codesGood knowledge of tax, PF and financial wellbeing interventions along with ability to manage multiple stakeholders internally and external vendors with an eye for detail is a mustOversee the end-to-end payroll processing. Gather, validate attendance and compensation dataCalculations of Variable pay, supporting the Compensation & Benefit policy with salary structure design. Calculate gross-to-net pay, deductions, and withholdings in compliance with all relevant tax and labour regulations. Managing payroll benefits such as car lease, NPS, Flexi basket etc.Review preliminary payroll registers and make any necessary adjustments prior to final payroll approval. Oversee the payroll accounting function, including general ledger postings, reconciliations, and reportingEnsure accurate recording of payroll liabilities, taxes,





and other related financial transactionsCollaborate with the Accounting team and vendor to resolve any discrepancies or issuesManage payroll-related employee inquiries and requests, providing excellent customer serviceMaintain detailed payroll records and documentation, preparing reports as neededManage internal and external auditsIdentify process improvement opportunities and collaborate with the team to enhance efficiency and accuracyKey Requirement:Strong working knowledge of payroll systems, Indian tax regulations, and labour lawsExcellent numerical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detailProficient in using Microsoft excel, HRIS, payroll and accounting software, with the ability to extract and manipulate dataString communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholdersAdaptable and proactive problem-solver,





able to juggle multiple prioritiesBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related fieldQualifications:B.A Hons.
