>> Managing all activities related to selling Crop Protection products and related products.
> Decisions & judgements which vary in complexity are often taken under time pressure and in an environment of incomplete information. Issues may relate to opportunities/problems of internal and external commercial and regulatory issues as well as technical, customer, production, agent/distributor, and intercompany problems.
> Develops and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve assigned revenue and Gross Margin within key customers in India.
> Responsible for increasing sales and gross margin of the business in line with objectives and strategic plan. Has the autonomy and authority on pricing / margin decisions where applicable and significant input at key customers that have a large impact on the profits of the business & Croda International as a whole.
> Integral part of the process which determines the strategy for the market areas for the next 1-3 years and communicates the plans back to the relevant parties.
> Conduct regular product presentations, technical consultations, and demonstrations to showcase Croda's capabilities and solutions.
> Negotiate and close sales contracts, ensuring optimal pricing and profitability.
> Manage customer orders, coordinate deliveries, and resolve any service issues promptly.
> Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
> Prepare accurate and timely reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer activities.
> Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to support product development and marketing initiatives.
> Collaborate effectively with colleagues across sales, marketing, and technical teams to achieve common goals.
> The role is expected to have significant time away from home including overnight stays.
> Expected to improve the efficiency of sales systems and procedures.

Chemistry Degree and MBA
>>
>> Minimum 5 years of proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within the Crop Protection Additives and Adjuvants.
> Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering and master’s in marketing, or a related field, preferably with a focus on Agribusiness.
> Strong understanding of the Crop Protection market dynamics, trends, and key players.
> Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
> Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
> Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving business objectives.
> Self-motivated, results-oriented, and highly organized individual with excellent time management skills.
> Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP software.
