A Sr. Manager of "Non Food" category is tasked with the strategic leadership and management of all aspects related to Buying, Supplier Development, Innovation and End to End Execution of all Non Food products (Packaging, CPG, Small-wares, CCG, Uniform, Cleaning Chemicals etc). This includes overseeing Supplier identification and orientation, Product Development, Quality Control, Production processing and Distribution to meet quality standards, market demands, and profitability targets. The candidate should hold good understanding of the consumer insights to be able to develop/launch new relevant categories.
The candidate is responsible for driving the bottom-line by reduction/optimization on Pkg / OPEX costs and topline growth by innovating on the CPG rangeResponsibilities:Driving Merchandise Growth:Led the launch of new categories (sippers, coffee accessories, mints, cookies, RTDs, etc.), achieving a 5% target revenue mix and expanding the product portfolio.Packaging Cost Optimization:Reduced packaging costs by 2.5-3% of net sales through innovative packaging solutions, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.Building Supply Chain Networks:Developed a streamlined import network from China, enhancing supply chain efficiency, and established supply chain operations to support increased e-commerce sales.Regional Vendor Development:Established a regional vendor base for Opex categories like smallwares and uniforms, improving procurement efficiency and supplier relationships.Team Leadership:Mentored and trained the team, fostering innovation and driving performance to meet key business objectives.Requirements:MBA or Post-Graduation in a relevant field.A minimum of 12+ years of total experience,
with at least 10+ years in relevant fields such as supply chain, procurement, or business operations.Proven experience in strategic merchandise growth, category launches, and supply chain management.Expertise in packaging cost optimization and innovation.Strong background in developing supply chain networks, including international imports (e.G., from China).Experience with e-commerce supply chain operations and regional vendor development.Experience managing operations and teams on a Pan-India level.
