Title : Analytics Data Engineer - Snowflake, DBT, Tableau Location : Remote Experience : 10+ years Tech Skills Needed: Snowflake DBT Tableau Building Reporting Data Marts: Build new "reporting" data marts (tables) from existing Snowflake data to power Tableau reports and analytics use cases. Expectation : 8-10 data marts to be built over the next 6 months. Collaborate with Analytics, Data, and Business stakeholders to ensure data marts meet reporting and analytics requirements. Data Engineering Component: Analyze upstream data and validate against other sources of truth. Build optimal DBT jobs, dynamic tables, or views to produce necessary data.
Collaborate with governance and reporting teams to apply standard naming conventions and data formatting rules. Set up data quality alerts to monitor for data gaps or anomalies (e.g., drops in KPI week-over-week). Reporting Component: Publish Tableau data extracts on the Tableau server based on the new Snowflake data marts. Set up a refresh schedule (daily, hourly as needed). Create custom Tableau calculations for KPIs. Document data sources in Confluence, including sample queries, reports, and any necessary definitions. If Intrested.
