Overview
Gable Digital Solutions, Inc., an innovative digital design firm, is seeking a talented and versatile Freelance Graphical Product Designer to join our team. This role involves creating compelling and original designs for a diverse range of products including B2B digital download templates, mugs, t-shirts, sweatshirts, tote bags, stationery templates, business cards, RSVP cards, and more. Additionally, you may be asked to provide designs for UI / UX, logo and brand designs,
and marketing designs for various digital and other product offerings both internally and for clients. As a contract designer, you will have the freedom to work remotely with flexible hours, aligning with team meetings primarily in the afternoon and evening.
Responsibilities
- Create high impact, punchy designs of printable templates for business flyers, business cards, social media graphics, brochures, and more, which have a high conversion rate to sales.
- Design and develop aesthetic and effective graphic content for an assortment of products such as apparel, stationery, and promotional items.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product team to interpret briefs and turn them into compelling visual designs.
- Ensure all designs meet company standards and client expectations in terms of quality and delivery timelines.
- Adjust designs based on feedback from stakeholders to refine and revise artwork as necessary.
- Manage multiple projects from concept through completion under tight deadlines.
- Create product listings on one or more online shops.
- Create compelling listing images which result in a high click-thru-rate.
Qualifications
- Proven graphic design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse capabilities across various types of designs from offline printables to online media and even merchandise.
- Highly proficient in Canva.
- Bonus for proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and branding.
- Ability to work independently and flexibly to manage workload and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with remote teams.
- Prior experience in product design is highly desirable.
- Ability to produce at least 10 high impact design variations of a single flyer, business card, poster, or other design type from inception to completion per day, along with listing images.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with Etsy or other online marketplace listing management is a bonus
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field is mandatory.
- Must be available for team meetings during the afternoon and evening hours as per Indian Standard Time.
- Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
