Job Summary:
Samvedna Development Society is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and manage our Solid Waste Management projects in collaboration with Nagar Nigam (Municipal Corporation) under the Swachh Bharat Mission . The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling projects with Nagar Nigam, strong documentation skills, and expertise in IEC (Information, Education, Communication) initiatives within the Solid Waste Management sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage Solid Waste Management projects, ensuring alignment with Swachh Bharat Mission objectives.
- Collaborate with Nagar Nigam (Municipal Corporation) to implement waste management solutions.
- Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring timely and successful completion of initiatives.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including reports, proposals, compliance documents , and all necessary paperwork as per Nagar Nigam requirements.
- Execute and monitor IEC activities to promote awareness, behavioral change, and community participation in Solid Waste Management programs.
- Ensure adherence to project budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
- Liaise with key stakeholders, including government bodies, NGOs, local communities, and vendors to drive project success.
- Prepare regular progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide training and capacity-building support to project staff and local stakeholders involved in Solid Waste Management.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's in Social Work (MSW) or higher.
- 5-6 years of hands-on experience working with Nagar Nigam (Municipal Corporation) on Solid Waste Management projects.
- Proven track record of working on IEC activities and Swachh Bharat Mission initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of documentation processes with Nagar Nigam, including report submissions, compliance tracking, and proposal writing.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, project management, and public awareness programs.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
