Job Overview
Wise Analytics is seeking a highly experienced Senior Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on backend development to lead and manage the development of full stack applications for our clients in the retail and finance domains. The ideal candidate will be an independent contributor capable of leading a technical team, handling stakeholders, and ensuring the timely delivery of complex projects. Proficiency in Node.js and Express.js with experience in API integration, event streaming, and infrastructure management using Kubernetes and Terraform is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Backend Development:
Lead the development and implementation of robust backend applications using Node.js.
Design and manage APIs for seamless integration with various IT systems and third-party services. Front-End Development:
Oversee the development of user interfaces using ReactJS, ensuring a cohesive and responsive user experience. Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration between the front-end and backend components.
Team Leadership:
Manage and mentor a team of full stack developers, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to best practices. Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, encouraging continuous learning and improvement.
Project Management:
Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring successful delivery of complex full stack development projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project goals with business objectives and stakeholder requirements.
Stakeholder Management:
Engage with senior stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements. Present project updates, technical solutions,
and progress reports to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Technical Expertise:
Implement and optimize event streaming and webhook mechanisms for backend logic governance. Develop and maintain custom integration layers for handling API calls and dynamic message customization. Manage deployment using Kubernetes (k8s) and infrastructure management with Terraform, ensuring scalable and reliable application performance. Utilize databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar for efficient data storage and retrieval.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
7+ years of experience in full stack development,
with a strong focus on backend technologies. Proven experience in a leadership role, managing technical teams and handling complex projects. Technical Skills:
Expertise in backend development using Node.js and Express.js. Proficiency with React.js for front-end development. Strong experience with API integration, event streaming, and webhook management. Extensive knowledge of Kubernetes (k8s) for deployment and Terraform for infrastructure management. Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly GCP. Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the retail and finance domains. Certification in relevant technologies or cloud platforms. Knowledge of additional full stack development tools and frameworks.
