Job Title: Senior Database Engineer
Location: Navi Mumbai
About the Team:
Join our Database Engineering Team, a collaborative group of 9 skilled DBAs dedicated to advancing open banking initiatives. Our team supports databases primarily for the US and AUS regions, ensuring high availability, scalability, and efficiency.
Project Focus:
As a Senior Database Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and supporting our Banking Database Administration. You’ll work on maintaining and optimizing database processes and participate in research and proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives for emerging technologies.
Core Responsibilities:
- Database Maintenance: Manage and support maintenance processes to ensure optimal performance,
security, and reliability of databases.
- Research & Innovation: Engage in research and POC initiatives to explore and integrate new database technologies.
- Cloud-Centric Approach: Work across various database technologies with a strong emphasis on cloud-based solutions.
Experience Level:
5 – 7 years of relevant experience in database management and administration.
Shift Details:
- 9-hour shifts, primarily night shifts (6:00 PM – 3:00 AM / 10:30 PM – 7:30 AM).
- Potential for rotation based on business needs.
Interview Process:
The selection process involves 2 interview rounds, focusing on technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
Required Expertise:
- Aurora PostgreSQL: Strong proficiency and hands-on experience (Must Have).
- Aurora MySQL: Solid understanding and experience (Must Have).
- MongoDB: Familiarity is a plus.
