Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Software/Services Presales Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support during the sales process, working closely with our sales and engineering teams to articulate the value of our solutions to prospective clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical presentations, demonstrations, and support for our software/services offerings.
Solution Development: Analyze customer needs and develop tailored solutions, ensuring alignment with their business objectives.
Technical Presentations:
Deliver compelling product presentations and demonstrations that highlight the features and benefits of our solutions.
RFP/RFI Responses: Assist in the preparation of proposals, RFPs, and RFIs by providing technical input and insights.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, addressing their technical concerns and providing insights into product capabilities.
Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies to effectively position our solutions.
Collaboration: Work closely with the product management and engineering teams to communicate customer feedback and contribute to product development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
years of experience in a presales or technical support role within the IT software/services industry.
Strong understanding of software development, IT infrastructure, and cloud services.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with sales methodologies and tools (e.g., CRM systems).
Preferred Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
