Required Skills and Experience *
-5+ years of Node.js development and 2+ years of experience working with Express.js framework in a production environment
-Knowledge of Node.js and Express.js architecture
-Experience building Restful API and web services using nodeJS
-Experience with creating large-scale Web Applications
-Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks)
Nice to Have Skills and Experience
-Experience with guidance and mentoring of other developers while working on projects and initiatives
-GCP experience
Job Description *
Insight Global is seeking a remote senior Node.js/Express.js Developer to join a Fortune 10 retail pharmacy client. This person will be joining the team responsible for supporting the organizations retail shopping website. This role will be a mix of new development and fixing/debugging existing applications.
Responsibilities:
-Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and Express.js.
-Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
-Design and implement RESTful APIs to support various web and mobile applications.
-Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
-Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
-Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Compensation:
$10/hr to $15/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience,
and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching.
