### Long Description

**Position Title**: Material and Supply Chain Planner
**Location**: Oragadam, Chennai

#### Role Scope:
Plans, coordinates and manages the Material supply chain planning and related activities at the Manufacturing plant.





This position will be in charge of overall supply chain planning, and closely coordinate with plant functions, external suppliers, vendors, and customers to ensure that material and supply chain planning activities are fulfilled. This role will be responsible to implement all process about material planning solutions to achieve the company's business and development requirements.

### Major Responsibilities:
- Receive and maintain all master data about material, supplier, Source list & info record and make sure all information is correct.
- Material purchasing order planning, releasing and QAD/Navigen maintain.
- Handling 3-way match and accounts payable process completion for direct material purchasing.
- Track the delivery of PO and arrival time of the material and parts.
- Material inventory analysis, optimization, and target control.
- To ensure supplier's capacity and capability to meet production demand.
- Contract review and substitution application.






- Continue improve the on-time delivery and lead time of suppliers.
- Work with quality engineer to continue improve the supplier quality performance.
- Finalizing the packaging requirements for customer & ensure timely delivery of parts.
- Able to finalize items related to warehouse (Racks / bins, lifting equipment).
- Coordination with suppliers for timely deliveries of required manufacturing parts on time.
- Able to work on documentation, invoice preparation / In-inwarding, managing records & support timely.
- Implement quality management system including TS, OHS standard, etc.
- Follow company HSE rules and report unsafe hazards or issues to HSE in time.
- Other tasks assigned by leader or company business required.

### Key Competencies:
- Logistics knowledge and inventory management skill.






- Strength of basic problem analysis and solving skills - e.g. 8D, pareto, run chart, root cause analysis.
- Experience with QAD or related ERP/MRP system.
- Good command of English both written and oral.
- Strong capabilities for data summary and analysis.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiar with ISO/TS 16949.
- ERP Knowledge background.
- Microsoft-Word, Excel, Power Point Knowledge.

### Education and Experience:
- **Educational**: University degree on Engineering or business.
- **Experience**: 4 to 6 years in Material Planning or Supply Chain.
