Position Title: Bench Sales Recruiter

Job Overview:
As a Bench Sales Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in supporting international students, primarily on OPT, CPT and STEM OPT, by helping them secure positions with top IT companies. You will be responsible for marketing, networking, and placing qualified candidates on client projects. This role requires a proactive and organized individual who can navigate the complexities of the IT job market and immigration requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consultant Marketing & Promotion:
- Work closely with international students to understand their technical skills, career goals,
and job preferences.
- Actively market bench consultants (IT professionals) to vendors, clients, and staffing partners through calls, emails, and other channels.
- Identify and approach potential employers for job opportunities for consultants.
- Vendor & Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain relationships with IT vendors, staffing partners, and direct clients.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to gather job requirements and match consultants accordingly.
- Build and nurture a strong network of partners to ensure continuous flow of job openings.
- Compliance with Immigration & Visa Regulations:
- Ensure compliance with immigration laws related to OPT, STEM OPT, and other relevant work authorizations.
- Provide support to international students with visa documentation and application processes as needed.
- Pipeline & Reporting:
- Maintain a database of consultants on the bench, tracking availability and placement status.
- Generate reports on consultant placement, vendor relationships,
and market trends to support continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in bench sales or IT staffing, with specific experience in placing international students (OPT/STEM OPT/H1-B).
- Proven track record in marketing consultants and securing placements in the IT industry.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and consultants.
- Knowledge of IT technologies and roles, and understanding of market trends in the IT industry.
- Knowledge of OPT, STEM OPT, H1-B, and other visa regulations.
- Technical Skills:
- Comfortable using MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
and Google Workspace tools.
- Experience working with recruitment and applicant tracking systems (ATS) is preferred.
