Job Description

Are you passionate about creating meaningful change in your community? Team Everest is looking for an experienced and dedicated individual to join our Volunteer Service Team. This role involves managing and coordinating both in-person and virtual volunteering programs, supporting volunteers, and ensuring smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Volunteer Program Coordination:





Manage and execute various volunteering programs in your city as well as virtual programs organized by Team Everest.

- Volunteer Management: Mobilize, engage, and support volunteers to participate effectively in various programs and activities.

- Beneficiary Engagement: Visit schools, colleges, and communities to identify and shortlist potential beneficiaries for our programs.

- Partnership Management: Build and maintain relationships with partner organizations, corporates, and community groups to strengthen our programs.

- Vendor Coordination: Identify and engage vendors for procurement of materials when required.

- Event Management: Serve as the Event MC for both virtual and in-person events, ensuring smooth operations and active engagement.

- Data Tracking & Reporting:





Collect and analyze data related to volunteer programs, prepare reports, and share insights with stakeholders.

- Project Management: Take ownership of the overall management and execution of projects in your city.

- Operations Support: Manage day-to-day operations and identify creative solutions to address any challenges that arise.

RequirementsStrong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and the local language of the city you’re applying for.
A passion for learning, creativity, and innovative thinking.
Flexibility to adapt to changing guidelines and environments.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage expectations clearly.






Good organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage projects efficiently.
Basic computer knowledge, including proficiency in MS Office tools.
Willingness to travel locally (inter-city travel when required).
Prior experience in volunteering is an advantage.
Having a two-wheeler and driving knowledge is desired.

- Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.

Other Information

- Scope: Full-time

- Probationary period 3 months

- Willing to work with Team Everest for minimum 2 years

- Designation: You will be designated as ‘Volunteer Services Fellow’

- Working days: Monday to Friday + 2 working Saturdays a month

- Office Timing: 9.30 am to 6.30 pm

- Office Address: Team Everest office, 148, 2nd St, Lakshmi Nagar, Shanthi Nagar, Chromepet, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600044. (Backside of Chromepet Sarava Stores)

- Joining Date: Immediate

- No Work From Home for Chennai Employees







- Non-Chennai Employees - Travel to Chennai for training programs and quarterly meetings as and when required (Travel & Accommodation will be taken care by Team Everest)
