Head of Business Development
Location: Dubai
Job Summary:
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving business growth
in Dubai by developing and implementing B2B marketing strategies, expanding the
client base, and generating revenue. The ideal candidate will have proven
experience in sales within the agri-tech, warehousing, cold storage, or
logistics sectors, with a strategic mindset focused on identifying new opportunities
and enhancing existing relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Profit & Growth: Oversee the growth and profitability of the company in the Dubai region, meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Target Achievement: Set ambitious revenue and business development targets,
tracking performance and ensuring successful delivery.
- Marketing Leadership: Lead the development of new marketing initiatives to increase visibility and drive business expansion.
- Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with current customers, ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling.
- Lead Generation: Identify and generate new business opportunities through strategic research, including channel partners, institutional clients, and FPOs.
- Industry Research: Conduct in-depth research to uncover new markets and opportunities for client acquisition from fragmented or obscure information sources.
- Networking: Attend and actively participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to connect with potential clients and partners.
- Product & Service Innovation: Collect and analyze client feedback to recommend new products or services that address market needs.
- Regional Strategy:
Develop and implement tailored strategies for regional operations to boost growth and market penetration.
- Marketing & Promotion: Plan and execute marketing campaigns aimed at enhancing brand visibility and promoting product launches.
- Staff Training: Mentor and train the sales team to enhance their selling skills and improve overall sales performance.
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of experience in business development or sales in the Agri-Tech, Warehousing, Cold Storage, or Logistics sectors.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong B2B marketing and lead generation skills.
- Exceptional networking and relationship-building abilities.
- In-depth industry knowledge and market research capabilities.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to identify new opportunities
