Job Title: Project Manager/Technical Project Manager (.NET and Java)
Experience 12+ years
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution:
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
Manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
Team Management:
Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and designers.
Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Foster a collaborative team environment,
encouraging communication and knowledge sharing.
Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, address concerns, and provide feedback.
Technical Oversight:
Provide technical guidance and support to development teams working with .NET and Java technologies.
Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines.
Review technical designs and architecture decisions, offering recommendations for improvement. – Nice to have
Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate as necessary to resolve them efficiently. Should contribute in doing RCA and proposing best solutions to be adhered by team
Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and milestones.
Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of goals and expectations.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain project documentation, including requirements, design documents, and technical specifications.
Generate regular progress reports and metrics for project stakeholders.
Document lessons learned and best practices for future reference and continuous improvement.
1. Leadership and Conflict Resolution: Strong leadership skills and the ability to resolve conflicts and issues within the project team effectively.
Strong Governance : Should have expertise to govern all sort of projects such as Staff Augmentation, Development and Support & Maintenance
1. Risk Management: Experience identifying and mitigating project risks, with a focus on proactive risk management strategies
2. Agile/Scrum Methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with Scrum or other Agile frameworks.
Nice-to-Have Skills and Responsibilities:
DevOps Practices: Knowledge of DevOps principles and tools for continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring.
Cloud Computing: Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
UI/UX Design: Basic knowledge of user interface and user experience design principles.
Delivery-led growth in and reduction on deviation on project margin
Costing and Budgeting : Develop detailed budgets and track cost regularly
How to leverage ChatGPT and AI in project management lifecycle
Certifications such as CSM, Scaled Agile related crtification, PMP, Prince 2 etc.
Airline Domain knowledge would be a plus
