Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Datasphere/BW Bridge/S4 HANA Engineer to join our project. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP Datasphere, BW Bridge & S4 HANA and be proficient in analytics modeling and data flows. This role requires expertise in persisted views, task chains, and intelligent lookups. The candidate should have hands-on experience with S4 Hana, BW Bridge, and data engineering work on SAP Datasphere. Strong SQL skills and experience with ABAP are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data models and data flows within SAP Datasphere.
- Work with persisted views to ensure data consistency and optimize query performance.
- Implement and manage task chains and intelligent lookups to automate and streamline data processing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from S4 Hana and BW Bridge into the SAP ecosystem.
- Perform data engineering tasks, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) within SAP platforms.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries to support business analytics and reporting needs.
- Utilize ABAP programming skills to customize and enhance SAP functionalities as required.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration, data flows, and system performance.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other team members as needed.
- Operational support (troubleshooting, monitoring etc.)for existing Datasphere processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working with SAP Datasphere and/or S4 Hana and/or BW Bridge.
- Strong expertise in analytics modeling, data flows,
and persisted views within SAP environments.
- Proven experience with task chains and intelligent lookups in SAP Datasphere.
- Advanced SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries and optimize database performance.
- Hands-on experience with ABAP programming and SAP customizations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in data engineering, data integration,
and ETL processes on SAP platforms.
- Familiarity with data governance, data security, and compliance within SAP environments.
- SAP certification in relevant modules is a plus.
