Job Description:
Will lead a team of talented security professionals in shaping and executing the organization's cyber security strategy,
driving innovation and implementing cutting-edge solutions while keeping our client ecosystems secure and safe against evolving threats.
The organization is the UAE’s national-scale enabler for cloud and generative AI, combining the organization's expertise across multiple technology disciplines into a single platform for public sector and large enterprise transformations. Building on our capabilities as sovereign cloud and HPC specialist, we bring generative AI, cybersecurity, professional and managed services expertise to enable national-scale program deployments across industries.
Day to Day Operations
- Develop and implement a comprehensive cyber security strategy aligned with the organization's overall business goals, with a clear focus on proactive threat detection and incident response.
- Oversee the monitoring of network traffic, systems, and applications for suspicious activities, and lead efforts to respond to security incidents promptly & effectively.
- Collaborate with IT architects to design and implement robust & secure infrastructure, including cloud environments, IoT systems, and AI platforms.
- Manage and mentor a team of cyber security professionals, including analysts, engineers, and incident responders, ensuring effective collaboration and skill development.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR, driving audits and assessments when needed.
- Develop and maintain an incident response plan, conducting in-depth post-incident reviews to constantly improve security protocols.
- Promote a culture of security awareness across the organization through training, workshops, and awareness campaigns.
- Coordinate vulnerability assessments, prioritize remediation efforts,
and ensure timely patching of critical systems.
- Evaluate, select, and deploy the latest security tools and technologies to assess and enhance the organization's ongoing cyber defense capabilities and security posture.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA
- Extensive knowledge of industry-standard security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS)
- Proficiency in designing and implementing security solutions for cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- In-depth knowledge of cyber security principles, practices, and technologies.
- Proficiency in using security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewall, and antivirus solutions.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, containerization, and virtualization technologies.
Minimum Experience:
- At least 7-10 years of professional experience in cyber security roles.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a team of cyber security professionals.
- A track record of successfully implementing cyber security strategies and initiatives.
- Demonstrated expertise in threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management.
