We are building a new team to spearhead the development of a prototype for an innovative gaming interface for a business solution that will ultimately integrate these cutting-edge technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Visionary Leadership: Guide the development of a prototype for a revolutionary gaming interface, combining VR, AR, and Metaverse elements.
- Technical Expertise: Provide in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in VR, AR,
and game development technologies to drive innovation.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of developers with diverse specializations, fostering collaboration and creativity.
- Design and Development: Conceptualize, design, and implement immersive and interactive experiences within virtual and augmented reality environments.
- Performance Optimization: Ensure optimal performance and stability of VR/AR applications across various devices and platforms.
- Code Quality: Enforce high standards for code quality, readability, and maintainability through code reviews and best practices.
- Architecture: Design and implement robust and scalable architectures for VR/AR applications and Metaverse integration.
- Collaboration: Work closely with designers, artists, and other developers to ensure a cohesive and compelling user experience.
- Innovation: Research and experiment with new technologies and techniques to push the boundaries of VR/AR and Metaverse development.
- Problem Solving:
Identify and resolve technical challenges and bottlenecks throughout the development process.
Qualifications:
- Expert-level proficiency in Unity game engine.
- Strong programming skills in C, C++, and scripting languages (e.g., C#).
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
- Proficiency in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for web-based game features, tools, or Metaverse integration.
- Experience with APIs, REST services, and web services integration.
- Experience in developing VR and AR applications for various platforms (e.g., Oculus, HTC Vive, HoloLens, mobile AR).
- Excellent knowledge of application performance optimization techniques for VR/AR.
- Deep understanding of code quality, testing, and debugging practices.
- Experience in designing and implementing architectures for VR/AR applications and Metaverse integration.
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
- Ability to lead and mentor a team of developers.
- Passion for gaming, VR/AR technologies, and the Metaverse.
- A creative and innovative mindset with a desire to explore new frontiers in immersive experiences.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with game physics engines (e.g., PhysX).
- Knowledge of 3D modeling and animation software.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Contributions to open-source projects or game development communities.
- Experience with Metaverse platforms and technologies (e.g., Decentraland, Sandbox).
- Knowledge of blockchain technology and its applications in gaming and the Metaverse.
