We are seeking a skilled Mobile QA Engineer with expertise in Appium , Charles Proxy , and Xcode/XPath to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in mobile application testing (both manual and automated), focusing on ensuring a seamless user experience and flawless functionality across iOS and Android platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Appium for iOS and Android mobile applications.
- Conduct manual testing to verify app performance and functionality across various devices, operating systems, and network conditions.
- Utilize Charles Proxy to intercept, debug, and analyze network traffic and API calls,
ensuring data integrity and optimal app performance.
- Leverage Xcode for iOS app testing, debugging, and validation of app functionality.
- Identify and locate elements on mobile applications using XPath and perform advanced automation to validate mobile UI and functionality.
- Collaborate closely with development and product teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Participate in test planning, writing test cases, and regression testing for new and existing features.
- Log and track issues in bug-tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution and reporting on test results.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in mobile testing tools and technologies.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in mobile testing (both manual and automation).
- Proficient in Appium for automated testing of iOS and Android applications.
- Strong experience in Charles Proxy for network traffic monitoring and debugging.
- Hands-on experience with Xcode and XPath for iOS testing and element identification.
- Good understanding of iOS and Android SDKs , as well as mobile UI/UX standards.
- Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and integrating mobile tests in the delivery process.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments is a plus.
- Experience in working with other automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium .
