Description :We are seeking an experienced and talented individual for the position of Data Governance with Azure experience. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the data governance framework using Azure tools and technologies, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain best practices. Location : Bengaluru/Hyderabad (onsite)Exp : 8+ yearsResponsibilities :
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data governance strategy using Azure tools and technologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues, including data cleansing and data enrichment operations.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Monitor and report on data governance metrics, including data quality, data accessibility, and data usage.
- Implement data classification schema and data retention policies.
- Conduct regular data governance training and awareness programs for employees.
- Ensure adherence to overall data management practices, including metadata management, lineage tracking, security, and governance.
- Collaborate with IT teams to establish data governance infrastructure, including data catalogs, data dictionaries, and metadata :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in data governance or data management.
- Strong knowledge of Azure tools and services, such as Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, and Azure Data Factory.
- Experience with data governance frameworks and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement data governance policies and procedures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
