Position- iOS Developer
Job Description –
As an iOS Developer, you will work within one of our development teams on new and existing projects , our SaaS services or internal projects. You will need to be proficient in technologies used throughout the lifecycle of iOS development.
Knowledge of technologies from other platforms is a bonus. You will gain exposure to a huge variety of API Integrations and partners including advertising and subscription platforms, CRM databases, social sign-on and analytics providers.
Shift - 2 PM to 11 PM
Mandatory Skills: Swift Swift UI
Experience with Audio player apps, a portfolio of successful projects, and the ability to work on UK hours.
A key bonus would be experience with Apple CarPlay integrations. they would need experience producing SDK’s, as this project would be an SDK with the view to plugging it into our core product
Technical Requirements:
A solid understanding and working knowledge of Swift, proficient in UIKit and SwiftUI
A solid understanding and working knowledge of XCode
A solid understanding and working knowledge of App Store Connect
Experience integrating Frameworks
A solid understanding of OOP
Familiarity with JSON feed structure, parsing JSON feeds and storing JSON in data models
Desire to learn from and improve our current suite of products
Experience in using best practices for UX and component design
Experience with GIT source control
Understanding of Scrum Agile development methodologies
Practical experience using Jira or similar platforms
A proven track record of app development and current examples in store
Experience with developing audio or podcast applications
Technical Bonuses:
Experience in developing production apps that support payments
Experience in developing mobile applications in Android (Google/Amazon)
Experience in developing mobile applications in Flutter
Familiarity with other programming languages such as Kotlin, C#, Java, Dart, Objective C
Familiarity with Android Studio
Familiarity with Visual Studio
Familiarity with SQL databases and LINGQ
Understanding of App design and development best practice
Unit testing and automation
Experience with Apple CarPlay integration
Additional Responsibilities:
Participate in daily scrum meetings
Log time spent on assigned tickets through Jira
Tag code commits with corresponding Jira ticket number
Communicate with team leads about any potential issues that could lead to work being blocked,
or done incorrectly
Participate in regular code reviews, as well as comment to assist other developers
