Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer with over 4+ years of experience to join our dynamic team in Chennai. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and architectures that support our data-driven initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement robust data pipelines and ETL processes using Python and big data technologies.
- Work with Spark, PySpark, or Scala to process and analyze large datasets.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and ensure data quality and integrity.
- Optimize existing data workflows and recommend improvements for performance and efficiency.
- Utilize Databricks for scalable data processing and analytics.
- Mentor junior data engineers and contribute to best practices in data engineering.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
- Proficiency in Python and big data frameworks (Spark, PySpark, or Scala).
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms and tools, particularly Databricks.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
