We are looking for a highly skilled Data Analyst/BI Engineer to join our team on a freelance basis. In this role, you will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to design and implement robust data management and reporting strategies for our new Financials solution. You will be responsible for developing data models, dashboards,
and analytics tools that provide users with real-time reporting capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data management and reporting strategies in collaboration with the project team.
- Develop and configure standard reports, dashboards, and data analytics tools.
- Lead requirements sessions and document configurations for reports and dashboards.
- Test and validate the functionality of configured reports and dashboards.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to identify opportunities for improving data availability.
- Support data access improvements across financial and operational modules.
- Perform SQL and DAX queries for Power BI and optimize data pipelines.
- Ensure data security and governance while implementing technological solutions.
Core Skills Required:
- Strong experience in building complex queries, reports, and dashboards using web-based tools.
- Proficiency in Power BI for designing and deploying business analytics dashboards.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, data integration (ETL processes), and data quality concepts.
- Experience with SQL, DAX, and cloud data warehouses like Snowflake and Redshift.
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Pentaho or Informatica.
- Excellent communication skills to translate business needs into data solutions.
