Job Summary :

Fossbytes is looking for a creative scriptwriter to write scripts for its videos on our social media channels. The ideal applicant should have knowledge of basic scriptwriting techniques, understanding of viral content , and awareness of social media trends and pop/meme culture. He/she must possess expertise in writing engaging and entertaining content that resonates with the audience.

Roles and responsibilities:

Writing well-structured, informative,





and engaging scripts for videos on our Watercooler ( and Watercooler Animals (

This process will include the following steps:

- Conduct primary research on the topic to deliver the content in the most informative, factually correct, and engaging way
- Create blueprints for scripts based on research and creative vision of production teams
- Discuss content details with relevant teams to ensure that it meets the desired standards
- Present the narrative and provide inputs on the visual and production requirements for consideration
- Produce original ideas for consideration based on the understanding of the audience
- Revise the script based on inputs from production teams and personal standards to meet the expectations of the company ethos
- Ensuring the scripts are clear and coherent so that the voice-over artist can easily read them out loud.

- Ability to write clear, concise, and engaging scripts
- Excellent knowledge of English grammar and writing skills






- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Interested in current technology trends, social media trends, and pop culture
- Must be a Creative and innovative thinker and planner
- Must be able to write persuasively, creatively, and quickly because of the pressure of deadlines.
- Editing and polishing existing scripts to improve readability

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communication, English, or any other related field
- Candidates with relevant prior internship/work experience will be preferred
