Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Azure Data Services and PowerShell automation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, and working with Azure's data and analytics technologies. This role is integral to building and managing infrastructure, automating processes,
and ensuring smooth operations of Azure-based data platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Classic pipelines , YAML , and other relevant technologies.
- Automate infrastructure deployment and management using Bicep , ARM Templates , and Terraform .
- Write, maintain, and troubleshoot scripts and automation tasks using PowerShell to streamline operational processes.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure optimal infrastructure and pipelines for Azure Data Lake Storage , Azure Data Factory , and Azure Databricks .
- Ensure efficient integration of DevOps pipelines with Azure-based data platforms to support analytics and data processing workflows.
- Continuously monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Azure environments to ensure high availability and performance of data solutions.
- Lead efforts in automating infrastructure deployments and enhancements, following infrastructure-as-code best practices.
- Ensure security, scalability,
and best practices are implemented across all DevOps processes.
- Collaborate with development, data, and operations teams to integrate DevOps processes with business objectives.
Required Skills:
- CI/CD : Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using both Classic pipelines and YAML .
- PowerShell : Advanced expertise in PowerShell scripting for automation and infrastructure management within Azure.
- Infrastructure as Code : Hands-on experience with Bicep , ARM Templates , and/or Terraform for automating Azure infrastructure.
- Azure Data Technologies : In-depth experience with Azure Data Lake Storage , Azure Data Factory , and Azure Databricks to support large-scale data processing and analytics.
- Strong understanding of Azure services and DevOps best practices, including security, monitoring, and automation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other Azure services like Azure DevOps , Azure Monitor , and Azure Security Center .
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Experience with other scripting languages such as Python or Bash is an advantage.
