Job Description: We are looking for a creative and experienced Graphic and Web Designer high skilled in WordPress to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining our company’s website, creating visually appealing graphics for our digital media, and enhancing our brand presence online.
This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with our marketing and content teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Website Design (WordPress) and Maintenance:
- Design, develop, and maintain the company website ensuring it is user-friendly, visually appealing, and aligned with the company’s branding.
- Optimize the website for performance, speed, and search engine ranking.
- Implement responsive design to ensure the website functions smoothly across all devices.
Graphic Design:
- Create visually compelling graphics for use in digital marketing campaigns, social media, presentations, and print materials.
- Develop design concepts and layouts for brochures, flyers, business cards, and other marketing materials.
- Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency across all platforms and materials.
Content Creation:
- Work closely with the content writer and marketing team to create engaging visual content that supports our marketing goals.
- Design and produce infographics, diagrams, and other visual content to illustrate complex concepts and data.
- Utilize AI tools to enhance content creation for videos, images, and other digital marketing applications.
Collaboration and Project Management:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop creative ideas and strategies.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in graphic and web design.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
and web development tools (WordPress Website Builder, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, including websites, digital graphics, and print materials.
- Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for aesthetics and details.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with AI tools for content and graphic design, including videos, images, and other digital marketing applications.
- Proficiency in the following tools and software for optimal graphic and web design:
WordPress
Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator,
InDesign, XD)
Sketch
Figma
Canva
HTML, CSS, JavaScript
WordPress or other CMS platforms
Google Analytics and other web analytics tools
SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Moz)
Video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
Preferred Skills:
- WordPress
- Experience in UX/UI design and knowledge of user-centered design principles.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital marketing.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is a plus.
