Overview
The role of the Data Analyst/Visualization Trainee/Fresher Graduate UG is crucial within our organization as it supports the decision-making process by interpreting and analyzing data to drive business insights. The incumbent will work closely with the data team to turn data into visually appealing graphics, charts, and reports that are easy to understand and drive actionable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing tasks
- Create and maintain databases and data systems
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques,
and provide ongoing reports
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and visualized reports to drive key business decisions
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Filter and clean data by reviewing computer reports and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
- Assist with data-related technical issues and support other team members
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to develop data visualization solutions
- Use BI and visualization tools to communicate findings and share insights
- Present findings and data-driven recommendations to key stakeholders
- Keep abreast of industry best practices and new trends in data analysis and visualization
- Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in data analysis and visualization processes
- Assist in ad-hoc data analysis and visualization projects as required
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science,
Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
- Strong understanding of data analysis techniques, methodologies, and best practices
- Proficiency in SQL and database management
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
- Understanding of statistical concepts and methods
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with large data sets and derive meaningful insights
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within a team environment
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is a plus
- Proven attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity
- Passion for working with data and generating valuable insights
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Understanding of data security and privacy principles
