The Social Media Executive plays a crucial role in the organization by planning and implementing the companys social media strategy. They are responsible for creating and curating engaging content analyzing social media metrics and interacting with the online community to maintain a positive brand image. This role is vital in driving brand awareness customer engagement and lead generation through various social media platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Create and manage the organizations social media profiles and presence including Facebook Twitter LinkedIn and Instagram.
- Develop engaging creative and innovative content for regularly scheduled posts which enlighten educate and entertain the audience.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure social media and marketing strategies are aligned.
- Analyze and report social media actions on a regular basis for successes and new opportunities.
- Stay uptodate with the latest social media best practices technologies and trends.
- Interact with the online community to respond to their inquiries and develop relationships.
- Plan and execute social media advertising campaigns.
- Monitor and improve the overall companys online presence.
- Create and manage promotions and social ad campaigns being sure to track results.
- Analyze review and report on the effectiveness of campaigns to maximize results.
Required qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Communication or related field.
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Executive or similar role.
- Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
- Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
- Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research.
- Excellent multitasking and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive and selfmotivated with a passion for the social media landscape.
- Ability to deliver creative content (text image and video).
- Knowledge of online marketing channels and best practices.
