Job Summary:

The Purchase and Store Manager will oversee the procurement and inventory management processes for a robotics manufacturing company. This role involves managing the acquisition of engineering components and materials optimizing inventory levels and ensuring the efficient storage and handling of goods. The manager will work closely with suppliers internal teams and other stakeholders to maintain supply chain efficiency and support production requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Procurement Management:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the timely and costeffective acquisition of engineering components and materials.






- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers negotiate terms and establish supplier agreements.
- Manage the endtoend procurement process including requisition purchase orders and supplier communications.
- Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained minimizing excess or shortage situations.
- Implement inventory control systems and practices to track stock movements and manage stock levels effectively.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and records.
- Supplier Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable supply chains and highquality materials.
- Monitor supplier performance address any issues and take corrective actions as needed.
- Stay informed about market trends and supplier innovations to leverage opportunities for cost savings and improvements.
- Storage and Warehousing:
- Manage warehouse operations including the receipt storage and dispatch of materials and components.






- Ensure that storage practices comply with safety and quality standards.
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency and reduce handling time.
- Cost Management:
- Monitor and control procurement and inventory costs to stay within budget.
- Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Prepare and manage budgets related to procurement and inventory management.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities inventory levels and supplier transactions.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement performance inventory status and cost analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and regulatory requirements.
- CrossFunctional Coordination:






- Collaborate with production engineering and quality teams to understand material requirements and support production schedules.
- Coordinate with finance and accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of purchase orders and payments.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management Engineering Business Administration or a related field. A Master s degree or professional certifications (e.g. CPIM CIPS) are advantageous.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in procurement and inventory management preferably in a robotics or engineering manufacturing environment.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes inventory control and warehouse management.






- Proficiency in procurement and inventory management software.
- Excellent negotiation analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attributes: Detailoriented organized and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.

Working Conditions:

- Hours: Fulltime position with standard business hours. Flexibility may be required based on operational needs.
- Environment: Primarily officebased with regular visits to the warehouse and supplier sites.
