Develop and implement effective strategies for debt recovery and collections within the state, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. Lead and supervise a team of collections professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to maximize their performance and achieve collection targets. Monitor and analyze collection metrics, such as delinquency rates, recovery rates, and customer payment behavior, to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential risks.
Oversee the management and maintenance of the collections portfolio, including prioritizing accounts for collection efforts, reviewing payment plans, negotiating settlements, and initiating legal actions if necessary.
Interact with customers regarding their delinquent accounts, addressing inquiries, resolving disputes, and providing assistance or guidance on payment options and debt resolution. Prepare regular reports on collections activities, trends, and outcomes, presenting findings to senior management to facilitate informed decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as sales, customer service, and finance teams to improve overall collections effectiveness and minimize customer delinquency. Identify and implement process enhancements, automation, and technology solutions to streamline collections operations, enhance productivity, and optimize recovery rates.
