To maintain normal operating parameters and ensure safety, reliability and efficiency during steady state run, start up, shut downs and emergencies by continuously monitoring DCS/PLC Panel while adhering to standard operating procedures.

It should capture only the key responsibilities of the role SECTION III: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE ROLE Responsibilities Operations

- Control and monitor panel and process parameters as per schedule and oversee chemicals and utility consumption
- Maintain and monitor plant operating parameters within operating limits for safe and optimized plant operation and respond to alarms and deviations as per procedure
- Monitor trends of critical parameters to identity impending abnormalities and notify Shift in-charge for corrective actions
- Inspect equipment and listen for automated warning signals to determine location and nature of malfunction, such as leaks and breakage






- Follow guidelines received from Shift in-charge through Shift Team Meetings / OMPRO instructions for enhancement of plant operations
- Address the reasons for deviations in OMPRO and mention the corrective actions taken
- Initiate maintenance request in case of equipment failure in coordination with field operators and shift in-charge
- Report detailed shift log in writing in the OMPRO logbook mentioning any key parameter changes, events, actions taken and follow ups
- Compile and record operating data, instrument readings, documents, results of analysis and highlight any abnormality or deviations to shift In-charge
- Coordinate system shutdown and start up through panel operation and communication to field
- Retrieve and refer the relevant,





updated data and PT documentation from respective locations like ReIMS, intranet portal, LIMS as per requirement
- Follow-up and complete relevant tasks / activities as assigned or configured in OMPRO
- Respond to F&G; alarms and act as per site Emergency Response Control Plan
- Monitor and update APC, RTO, optimizer, etc. as relevant continuously Policies, Processes and Procedures
- Conduct day to day activities & follow all relevant policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
- Contribute to the identification of continuous improvement of systems,





processes and procedures Metrics that are used to evaluate the success / performance of the role; specific targets do not need to be included as those would change from Y-o-Y SECTION IV: SUCCESS METRICS (TOP 3-5 KPI's)
- Temperature delta & Pressure Delta
- Power output increase, Steam Flow delta
- Robot Arm Speed, Conveyor Belt Speed
- Corrective & Preventive action implementation time
- No of process violations, repeat violations, severity of violations etc.
- Product deviation, quality deviation
- Performance w.r.t applicable OMPro KPIs e.g.: HOTO duration, Unauthorized system over-ride, etc.
- Emergency response as per site emergency response control plan Key interactions which are essential to execute the role. This will include both internal and external stakeholders SECTION V: OPERATING NETWORK Key Interactions: Internal Site Teams External NA Minimum qualification,





technical competencies and capabilities which are essential to execute the role. It may not be a reflection of job holder's own qualification and competencies SECTION VI: KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCIES FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES Education Qualifications
- Diploma Engineering Degree Experience (Must Have & Good to Have)
- 3+ years of work experience in the process plant for BSC
- Exposure to DCS operations will be desirable Functional / Behavioural competencies required to execute the role
- Knowledge of DCS/ PLC
- Knowledge of system tools (OMPRO, SAP-IM, ELS, ReIMS etc.)
- Knowledge of start-up/ shutdown of plant
- Knowledge of HSEF norms, standards
- Technology acumen
- Incident Management
