Location : Chennai, India. Experience : 6+ years. We are seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst with a strong background in retail banking to join our team in Chennai.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience in business analysis, specifically within the retail banking sector, and possess leadership capabilities to guide a team of analysts. This role involves driving the business analysis process for retail banking projects, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions that meet business needs. Key Responsibilities : Leadership & Team Management :
- Lead and mentor a team of business analysts to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Provide guidance and support to junior analysts in the team.
Business Analysis :
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements.
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications for the development team.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.
Project Management :
- Work closely with project managers to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Manage and prioritize the business analysis workload for multiple projects simultaneously.
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
UAT Support :
- Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
- Develop test cases and scenarios to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Facilitate UAT sessions with end-users and resolve any issues that arise.
Core Banking & Retail Banking Expertise :
- Leverage deep knowledge of retail banking processes, products, and services to inform project decisions.
- Work on core banking transformation projects and ensure alignment with industry best practices.
APIs & Integrations :
- Oversee the integration of various banking systems through APIs.
- Ensure seamless data flow between different systems and services.
Test Automation :
- Work with the QA team to implement test automation strategies that improve efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for automation within the business analysis and testing process.
Qualifications & Skills : Educational Background :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
- MBA or relevant certification in business analysis is a plus.
Experience :
- Minimum 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years in retail banking.
- Proven experience leading business analysis efforts on complex retail banking projects.
Core Skills :
- Strong understanding of retail banking products, services, and operations.
- Expertise in core banking systems and digital banking transformation.
- Proficiency in business process modeling, requirements management, and functional specification documentation.
- Experience with APIs, system integrations, and test automation in a banking environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Technical Skills :
- Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
- Proficiency in using business analysis tools and methodologies.
