Job Purpose
- Responsible for Non-IT related procurement across the organization
- Work with procurement operations to team to ensure vendor & contract compliance
- Build a preferred supplier list for Non-IT vendors keeping risk and control objectives in place
- Report monthly metrics on sourcing & saving updates to local and regional management
Key Accountabilities
This role will directly report to the AVP Team Lead and be a strategic partner to drive cost management, process improvement and procurement transformation. She/He will Learn / Un-Learn / Re-Learn the existing system and process within the Procurement. Drive synergies in Procurement domain which is worth 10 Million SGD.
Job Duties & responsibilities:
The candidate shall be exposed to entire gamut of Non-IT related procurement activities from Admin & Facilities, Operations, Marketing & Promotional material like gifts and promotional items, marketing promotional printing collaterals, Travel, Sustainability initiatives and shall be reporting directly to the AVP Team Lead on all the strategic negotiations, data analytics and shall deal with Stakeholders/ Business Leaders within the organization at India level.
The Candidate is supposed to perform the following
- Handling procurement operations for Admin, facilities and services (CRESA)
related Purchases, Marketing Services and Travel & Entertainment Category.
- Responsible for supply / demand alignment, material replenishment and vendor performance.
- Responsible for sourcing involving market survey and identifying cost optimization sourcing.
- Responsible for performing Travel & Entertainment related activities such as airline deals, hotel tie-ups, car rental agencies tie-ups, Offsite arrangements, and negotiations
- Responsible for Marketing related activities such as negotiations with event agencies, tie ups with various collateral printers, tie ups with corporate gifting vendors.
- Price and benefit bench marking.
- Coordination with the Business teams and understanding their requirements.
- Proactive analysis of future demand and tracking the requirements
- Reviewing tenders and bids and prepare quotation comparison and summarization
- Managing the meetings with various vendors and ensure the smooth co-ordination with Business teams.
- Tracking of contract renewals and renegotiate prices and driving cost savings for the Bank.
- Managing the procurement supplier relationships and maintain mutually beneficial long-term partnerships with Vendors.
- Helping to source alternative items for buyers and customers by developing sourcing strategies.
- Evaluation of new vendors and follow the vendor Registration/On-boarding procedure.
- Manage vendor related escalations and provide amicable results
- Be well versed with procurement related applications/software operations
Experience
- At least 5 to 7 years of industry experience (Preferably from BFSI sector/FMCG – Consumer Goods/Consulting firms)
- Relevant experience of handling supply chain management, vendor management, procurement and sourcing of Non-IT category spend
Education / Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree along with Full time MBA from reputed institutes
