Position Purpose
The HR Business Partner will provide comprehensive HR support to Covestro’s Airoli, Ankleshwar, and Greater Noida sites in India, ensuring that state-of-the-art HR solutions and services are delivered. The role involves implementing standardized HR policies and supporting local management in resolving HR issues while liaising with employee representatives, external partners, and HR services to maintain efficient HR service delivery.
Major Tasks and Responsibilities
HR Leadership and Coordination:
Lead HR activities across multiple business units, ensuring alignment with Covestro policies and business needs.
People Development & Talent Management:
Execute global strategies for people development and talent management, fostering a strong talent pipeline and facilitating annual merit increases within Workday, adhering to guidelines.
Policy Management & Compliance:
Act as the SPOC for CIPL HR policies, ensuring compliance and alignment with corporate standards. Serve on the Internal Complaints Committee (POSH Act) and as the Presiding Officer of the Apex Council for Greater Noida.
Audits & Data Privacy:
Support HR audit processes and represent CIPL HR in the global data privacy community.
HR Projects & Initiatives:
Drive HR initiatives such as Great Place to Work, Workday improvements, and HR automation to enhance efficiency.
Employee Relations & Compliance:
Support site services to ensure compliance with employment legislation and handle organizational changes.
HR Cost Management:
Manage local HR costs transparently and efficiently, providing financial insights when required.
Business Partnership & Change Management:
Collaborate with local management to align employee capabilities with strategic business goals and provide HR solutions for organizational changes.
Communications & Engagement:
Facilitate effective HR communications through various channels and counsel managers on resolving specific HR issues.
Global Collaboration:
Represent India in global HR communities to implement best practices and foster alignment with global strategies.
Contribution Context
Role: Individual Contributor, Team Member
Collaborates with:
Internal: Business heads,
function heads, site managers, and local/global HR teams.
External: Local HR circles, service providers, ministries, and HR sector relations (chemical industry).
WHAT YOU OFFER
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in any field with full time Master’s Degree in Human Resources (Mandatory).
Experience:
10-15 years of relevant experience (Mandatory).
HR Business Partnering experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
Language:
Excellent command of spoken and written English.
Proficient in Hindi (read, write, speak).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in HR tools like Workday is preferred.
Advanced skills in MS Office is preferred.
Knowledge:
Familiarity with local labour laws and core HR functions like talent management and compensation.

Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal communication.
Ability to work under pressure with a collaborative mindset.
Strong people connection and team player mindset.
Willingness to travel regularly to Ankleshwar and Greater Noida.
