Analytics Assistant Manager

Role & Responsibilites:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate the Alteryx based workflows and migrate them into Power BI reports.
- Design and implement ETL processes to extract data from multiple sources, transform it into a usable format, and load it into target systems.
- Utilize Power Query for ETL, automation and orchestration. Ensure ETL processes are efficient, reliable, and scalable to handle large volumes of data.
- Migrate complex Alteryx workflows using Power Query to automate data processes, including data blending, cleansing, enrichment, and transformation.
- Design visually appealing and interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to present insights in a clear and compelling manner.
- Design and implement data models within Power BI to ensure optimal performance and usability. Utilize DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for creating calculated columns, measures, and complex calculations.
- Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing best practices for data governance, including establishing data lineage, documentation, and version control.
- Facilitate client working sessions and lead recurring project status meetings
- Develop long-lasting, trusted advisor relationships with clients
- Able to work in dual shore engagement across multiple time zones
- Manage business uncertainty
- Secure new opportunities within existing account relationship
- Assess customer needs,
pain points, behaviors, activation levers, headroom for growth, value propositions, etc.
- Manage day-to-day project operations, serve as the functional and domain expert on the project team to ensure that they meet client expectations
- Provide quality oversight on deliverables prepared by the project team before submitting to client
Candidate Profile:
- 4-6 years’ experience, preferably in analytics
- Bachelor’s/Master's degree in computer science/engineering, operations research or related analytics areas; candidates with BA/BS degrees in the same fields from the top tier academic institutions are also welcome to apply
- Proficiency in Power BI and Alteryx
- Technical skills like SQL, Python, Excel etc.
and experience in working with large datasets
- Proven experience in optimizing data pipelines, queries for performance and efficiency ehancement
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work in fast pace continuously evolving environment and ready to take up uphill challenges
- Is able to understand cross cultural differences and can work with clients across the globe
