The Job
As an Assistant Manager Sales in the construction industry, your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets. You will play an important role in expanding the customer base and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. This position requires a strong combination of sales expertise, experience in the field of building material sales, construction industry knowledge, and excellent leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Create comprehensive sales plans and strategies to penetrate new markets,
attract potential clients, and increase sales volumes.
- Generate leads and acquire new clients: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business. .
- Analyze sales data, monitor market trends, and generate regular reports on sales activities and revenue
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and other internal teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives. Provide feedback on market demands, customer preferences, and competitor activities to support product development and marketing initiatives.
The Profile
Requirements
- Any graduation (marketing or related field preferred).
- Proven experience as a Sales professional in the construction industry or a similar field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar role.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to travel as required meeting clients and attending industry events.
