> The Finance Manager/Senior Finance Manager will oversee Bhumi’s financial operations, focusing on accounts payable, payroll, statutory compliance, and audits.

> Role and Responsibilities:
>

> - Fully responsible for accounts payable functions, ensuring timely payments and staff reimbursements, managing vendor relationships, and reviewing payment requests for compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
>
> - Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing,
including statutory deductions, in coordination with HR on payroll records.
>
> - Manage and oversee the finance staff, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure effective financial operations.
>
> - Handle income tax and FCRA matters, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and timely submissions to regulatory bodies.
>
> - Conduct monthly bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow, and support treasury functions to maintain financial stability.
>
> - Lead audit processes, ensuring timely documentation and responses to observations while implementing process improvements across accounts payable, payroll, and audits.
>
>
>
> Educational Qualification/Experience:
>
>
> - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
>
> - 5-7 years of experience in financial management; experience in the non-profit sector is an advantage.
>
> - Proven experience in statutory compliance, accounts payable, payroll management, and audits.
>
> - Prior experience with donor reporting and trust/society accounting is preferred
>

>
> Knowledge & Skill Sets Required:
>
>
> - Strong understanding of statutory regulations (TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax) and tax filings.
>
> - Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho Books) and advanced skills in MS Excel.
>
> - Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
>
> - Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
>
> - Knowledge of financial reporting, vendor management, and process improvement strategies.
>
> - Ability to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders effectively.
