Lead Legal Transaction

Role
This role is responsible for analysing and identifying the legal risks and implications in all business transactions.
A purpose driven role for you
- Safeguard the interests of the organisation in relation to the contractual obligations with third parties.
- Gathering detailed information from internal stakeholders in respect of any legal query or agreement.
- Aligning multiple internal and external stakeholders and bringing them on the same page.
- Managing priorities in case of parallel running time critical engagements.
A Day in the life
On the operational side:
- Draft,
review and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts and transactions executed by the company with no legal exposure to the company;
- Mitigate any company risks that may come up from any contractual commitments;
- Manage contractual timelines and discussion regarding renewals, amendments and change orders;
- Monitor changes to regulatory requirements and advice compliance proactively handling regulatory developments;
- Serve as a lead counsel on all strategic deals resolving issues that arise in commercial contracts;
- Review business providing legal insights and expertise on the existing and new business propositions;
- Ability to evaluate business cases, identify legal risks and effectively communicate risks to internal stakeholders.
- Providing guidance, advice and/or training to improve business understanding of applicable laws.
Academic Qualification & Experience
- Law Graduate
- 10-14 Years (varying based on the experience in the relevant sector)
Technical Skills/Knowledge
- Breadth of legal expertise Understanding of a wide variety of laws.
- Ability to identify legal risks and develop effective legal strategies and practical solutions.
