JR61069 Senior/Staff Engineer, Advanced Modeling
In the TDE Modeling Group in Hyderabad you will work in a multi-functional team of engineers highly skilled in the modeling of materials, process, structure, and reactors. This team's primary responsibility is to support TDE modeling team in Boise, ID, US to enable faster and cheaper discovery of potential solutions to Micron's most significant challenges in Memory technology development.
Your role comprises mainly executing a project that directly complements one of our group's critical program. This project will involve development of first-principles model of new processes and semi-physical model deployments. You are expected to work in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment developing models and reporting results to the TDE team and collaborating with them on next steps. This position seeks individuals that can code and implement numerical models.
Qualifications:
- Experience in algorithm development, numerical methods, and scientific computing
- Experience in 3D structure building or resolving 3D geometry
- Experience with meshing, Computational geometry
- Strong background in DFT, MD, and MC/KMC techniques
- Experience with computational methodologies
- Familiar with FEA, FVM, PFM, HPEM, methods and implementations
- Experience with Python, Perl, TCl, MATLAB, FORTRAN, or C++
- Experience with HPC on Linux environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Exemplary teamwork
- Experience with common modeling software
- Previous process modeling software development experience
- Background in semiconductor processes is encouraged
Experience: 5 to 6 years of modeling
Education: Master's or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Applied Chemistry, Applied Physics, Materials Science, or related fields.
