Job Title: QA Automation Engineer + TestComplete
Experience: 5+ years
Key Responsibilities
- Automation Framework Development: Develop and maintain robust automation frameworks using TestComplete, integrating them into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Test Case Automation: Design and execute automated test scripts to validate functionality, performance, and scalability of applications across multiple platforms.
- Test Strategy: Define, document, and implement test strategies and plans for functional, integration, regression, and system-level testing.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and business analysts, to ensure high-quality product delivery.
- Defect Tracking: Identify, document,
and track bugs using tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar test management software.
- CI/CD Integration: Automate test execution as part of continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Performance & Load Testing: Develop scripts for performance and load testing to assess system behavior under varying conditions.
- Reporting & Documentation: Provide detailed test reports, metrics, and documentation to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Key Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software QA automation.
- Proficiency in TestComplete for creating and maintaining test automation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or VBScript in TestComplete.
- Familiarity with Selenium, Appium, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Expertise in API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Performance and Load Testing tools like JMeter.
- Certifications in TestComplete, ISTQB, or similar.
